يا إِخوَةُ، أَطلُبُ إِليكُم بِاسمِ
رَبِّنا يَسوعَ المَسيحِ أَن تَقولوا جَميعُكُم قَولًا واحِدًا، وَأَلَّا يَكونَ
بَينَكُم شِقاقاتٌ، بَل تَكونوا مُكتَمِلينَ بِفِكرٍ واحِدٍ وَرَأْيٍ واحِد. فَقَد
أَخبَرَني عَنكُم، يا إِخوَتي، أَهلُ خْلُوي أَنَّ بَينَكُم خصُوماتٍ، أَعني أَنَّ
كُلَّ واحِدٍ مِنكُم يَقول: ’أَنا لِبُولُسَ‘ أَو
’أَنا
لِأَبُلُّوسَ‘ أَو ’أَنَا
لِصَفَا‘ أَو ’أَنا لِلمَسيح‘. أَلَعَلَّ المَسيحَ قَد تَجَزَّأَ؟ أَلَعَلَّ بُولُسَ صُلِبَ
لِأَجلِكُم، أَو بِاسمِ بُولُسَ اعتَمَدتُم؟ أَشكُرُ اللهَ أَنِّي لَم أُعَمِّدْ
مِنكُم أَحَدًا، سِوى كِرِسْبُسَ وَغايُوسَ، لِئَلَّا يَقولَ أَحَدٌ إِنِّي
عَمَّدتُ بِاسمي؛ وَعَمَّدتُ أَيضًا أَهلَ بَيتِ إستِفاناس؛ وَمَا عَدا ذَلِكَ
فَلا أَعْلَم هَل عَمَّدتُ أَحَدًا غَيرَهُم، لِأَنَّ المَسيحَ لَم يُرسِلني
لِأُعَمِّدَ بَل لِأُبَشِّرَ، لا بِحِكمَةِ كَلامٍ لِئَلَّا يُبطَلَ صَليبُ

في ذَلِكَ الزَّمان، أَبصَرَ يَسوعُ جَمعًا
كَثيرًا فَتَحَنَّنَ عَلَيهِم وَأَبرَأَ مَرْضاهُم. وَلَمَّا كانَ المَساء، دَنا
إِلَيهِ تَلاميذُهُ وَقالوا: ’إِنَّ المَكانَ قَفرٌ، وَالسَّاعَة قَد فاتَتْ،
فَاصرِفِ الجُموعَ لِيَذهَبوا إِلى القُرى وَيَبتاعُوا لَهُم طَعامًا‘. فَقالَ
لَهُم يَسوع: ’لا حاجَةَ لَهُم إِلى الذَّهاب، أَعطُوهُم أَنتُم لِيَأْكُلوا!‘
فَقالوا لَهُ: ’ما عِندَنا هَهُنا إِلَّا خَمسَةُ أَرغِفَةٍ وَسَمَكَتان‘. فَقالَ
لَهُم: ’هلمَّ بِها إِلَيَّ إِلى هَهُنا‘. وَأَمَرَ بِجُلوسِ الجُموع عَلى
العُشْب. ثُمَّ أَخَذَ الخَمسَةَ الأَرغِفَة والسَّمَكَتَين، وَنَظَرَ إِلى
السَّماءِ وَبَارَكَ وَكَسَرَ، وَأَعطى الأَرغِفَةَ لِتَلاميذِهِ، وَالتَّلاميذُ
لِلجُموع. فَأَكَلوا جَميعُهُم وَشَبِعوا، وَرَفَعُوا ما فَضُلَ مِنَ الكِسَرِ
اثنَتَي عَشرَةَ قُفَّةً مَملوءَةً. وَكانَ الآكِلونَ خَمسَة آلاف رَجُلٍ سِوى
النِّساء وَالصِّبيان. وَلِلوَقتِ اضطَرَّ يَسوعُ تَلاميذَهُ إِلى أَن يَدخلوا
السَّفينَةَ وَيَسبِقُوهُ إِلى العَبْرِ حَتَّى يَصرِفَ الجُموع

Je vous exhorte, frères, par le nom de notre Seigneur
Jésus-Christ, à tenir tous un même langage, et à ne point avoir de divisions
parmi vous, mais à être parfaitement unis dans un même esprit et dans un même sentiment. Car, mes frères, j’ai appris à
votre sujet, par les gens de Chloé, qu’il y a des rivalités au milieu de vous.
Je veux dire que chacun de vous parle ainsi: ‘Moi, je suis de Paul!’ et ‘moi, d’Apollos!’ et ‘moi, de Céphas!’ et ‘moi, de Christ!’ Christ est-Il divisé? Paul a-t-il été crucifié pour vous, ou est-ce au nom de Paul que
vous avez été baptisés? Je rends grâces à Dieu de ce que je n’ai baptisé aucun
de vous, excepté Crispus et Gaïus, afin que personne ne dise que vous avez été baptisés
en mon nom. J’ai encore baptisé la famille de Stéphanas; du reste, que je sache, je n’ai baptisé personne d’autre. Ce n’est pas pour
baptiser que Christ m’a envoyé, c’est pour annoncer l’Évangile, et cela sans la sagesse du langage, afin que la Croix de Christ ne
soit pas rendue vaine
Évangile Matthieu 14: 14 – 22
Quand Il sortit de la barque, Il vit une grande foule,
et fut ému de compassion pour elle, et Il guérit les malades. Le soir étant
venu, les disciples s’approchèrent de Lui, et dirent: ‘Ce lieu est désert, et
l’heure est déjà avancée; renvoie la foule, afin qu’elle aille dans les
villages, pour s’acheter des vivres.’ Jésus leur répondit: ‘Ils n’ont pas
besoin de s’en aller; donnez-leur vous-mêmes à manger.’ Mais ils Lui dirent:
‘Nous n’avons ici que cinq pains et deux poissons.’ Et Il dit: ‘Apportez-les-Moi.’
Il fit asseoir la foule sur l’herbe, prit les cinq pains et les deux poissons,
et, levant les yeux vers le Ciel, Il rendit grâces. Puis, Il rompit les pains
et les donna aux disciples, qui les distribuèrent à la foule. Tous mangèrent et
furent rassasiés, et l’on emporta douze paniers pleins des morceaux qui
restaient. Ceux qui avaient mangé étaient environ cinq mille hommes, sans les
femmes et les enfants. Aussitôt après, Il obligea les disciples à monter dans
la barque et à passer avant Lui de l’autre côté, pendant qu’Il renverrait la
foule

Now I plead
with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak
the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be
perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it has
been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household,
that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, ‘I am of Paul,’ or ‘I am of Apollos,’ or ‘I am of Cephas,’ or ‘I am of Christ.’ Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were
you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, lest anyone should say that I had baptized
in my own name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of no effect

And when Jesus
went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them,
and healed their sick. When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying,
‘This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes
away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.’ But Jesus
said to them, ‘They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.’
And they said to Him, ‘We have here only five loaves and two fish.’ He said,
‘Bring them here to Me.’ Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the
grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to Heaven,
He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples
gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up
twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten
were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Immediately Jesus
made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while
He sent the multitudes away

ነገር
ግን፥ ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ሁላችሁ አንድ ንግግር እንድትናገሩ በአንድ ልብና በአንድ አሳብም የተባበራችሁ እንድትሆኑ እንጂ መለያየት
በመካከላችሁ እንዳይሆን በጌታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ስም እለምናችኋለሁ። ወንድሞቼ ሆይ፥ በመካከላችሁ ክርክር እንዳለ
ስለ እናንተ የቀሎዔ ቤተ ሰዎች አስታውቀውኛልና።
ይህንም
እላለሁ። እያንዳንዳችሁ። እኔ የጳውሎስ ነኝ፥ እኔስ የአጵሎስ ነኝ፥ እኔ ግን የኬፋ ነኝ፥ እኔስ የክርስቶስ ነኝ
ትላላችሁ። ክርስቶስ ተከፍሎአልን? ጳውሎስስ ስለ እናንተ ተሰቀለን? ወይስ በጳውሎስ ስም ተጠመቃችሁን? በስሜ
እንደ ተጠመቃችሁ ማንም እንዳይል ከቀርስጶስና ከጋይዮስ በቀር ከእናንተ አንድን እንኳ ስላላጠመቅሁ እግዚአብሔርን አመሰግናለሁ። የእስጢፋኖስንም
ቤተ ሰዎች ደግሞ አጥምቄአለሁ፤ ጨምሬ ሌላ አጥምቄ እንደ ሆነ አላውቅም። ለማጥመቅ ክርስቶስ አልላከኝምና፥ ወንጌልን
ልሰብክ እንጂ፤ የክርስቶስ መስቀል ከንቱ እንዳይሆን በቃል ጥበብ አይደለም።

ወጥቶም
ብዙ ሕዝብ አየና አዘነላቸው ድውዮቻቸውንም ፈወሰ። በመሸም ጊዜ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ወደ እርሱ ቀርበው። ቦታው ምድረ በዳ
ነው አሁንም ሰዓቱ አልፎአል፤ ወደ መንደሮች ሄደው ለራሳቸው ምግብ እንዲገዙ ሕዝቡን አሰናብት አሉት። ኢየሱስም።
እናንተ የሚበሉትን ስጡአቸው እንጂ ሊሄዱ አያስፈልግም አላቸው። እነርሱም። ከአምስት እንጀራና ከሁለት ዓሣ በቀር በዚህ
የለንም አሉት። እርሱም። እነዚያን ወደዚህ አምጡልኝ አላቸው። ሕዝቡም በሣር ላይ እንዲቀመጡ አዘዘ፥ አምስቱንም
እንጀራና ሁለቱን ዓሣ ይዞ ወደ ሰማይ አሻቅቦ አየና ባረከ፥ እንጀራውንም ቆርሶ ለደቀ መዛሙርቱ ሰጠ፥ ደቀ መዛሙርቱም
ለሕዝቡ። ሁሉም በልተው ጠገቡ፥ የተረፈውንም ቁርስራሽ አሥራ ሁለት መሶብ ሙሉ አነሡ። ከሴቶችና ከልጆችም በቀር
የበሉት አምስት ሺህ ወንዶች ያህሉ ነበር። ወዲያውም ሕዝቡን ሲያሰናብት ሳለ፥ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ በታንኳይቱ ገብተው ወደ
ማዶ እንዲቀድሙት ግድ አላቸው።
