الرّسالة 1 كورنثس 4: 9 – 16
يا إِخوَةُ، إِنَّ ٱللهَ قَد أَبرَزَنا
نَحنُ ٱلرُّسُلَ آخِري النَّاسِ، كَأَنَّا مَجعولونَ لِلمَوتِ، لِأَنَّا قَد صِرنا
مَشهَدًا لِلعالَمِ وَٱلمَلائِكَةِ وَٱلبَشَر. نَحنُ جُهَّالٌ مِن أَجلِ ٱلمَسيحِ،
أَمَّا أَنتُم فَحُكَماءُ في ٱلمَسيح. نَحنُ ضُعَفاءُ، أَمَّا أَنتُم فَأَقوِياء.
أَنتُم مُكَرَّمونَ، أَمَّا نَحنُ فَمُهانُون. وَحَتَّى هَذهِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ نَجوعُ
وَنَعطَشُ، وَنَعرَى وَنُلطَمُ، وَلا قَرارَ لَنا. وَنَتعَبُ عامِلينَ بِأَيدِينا.
نُشتَمُ فَنُبارِك، نُضطَهَدُ فَنَحتَمِل. يُشَنَّعُ عَلَينا فَنَتَضَرَّع. قَد
صِرنا كَأَقذارِ ٱلعالَمِ، كَأَوساخٍ يَستَخبِثُها ٱلجَميعُ حَتَّى ٱلآن. وَلا
أَكتُبُ ذَلِكَ لِإِخجالِكُم، لَكِنِّي أَعِظُكُم كَأَولادي ٱلأَحِبَّاء.
لِأَنَّهُ وَلَو كانَ لَكُم رِبواتٌ مِنَ ٱلمُعَلِّمينَ في ٱلمَسيحِ، لَيسَ لَكُم
آباءٌ كَثيرونَ، لِأَنِّي أَنا وَلَدتُكُم في ٱلمَسيحِ يَسوعَ بِٱلإِنجيل.
فَأَطلُبُ إِلَيكُم أَن تَكونوا بي مُقتَدين

في ذَلِكَ ٱلزَّمان، دَنا إِلى يَسوعَ
إِنسانٌ فَجَثا لَهُ وَقال: ’يا سَيِّد ٱرحَمِ ٱبني! فَإِنَّهُ يُعتَرى في رُؤُوسِ
ٱلأَهِلَّةِ وَيَتَأَلَّمُ جِدًّا. فَإِنَّهُ كَثيرًا ما يَقَعُ في ٱلنَّارِ،
وَكَثيرًا في ٱلماء. وَقَد قَدَّمتُهُ لِتَلاميذِكَ، فَلَمْ يَستَطِيعوا أَن
يَشفوه‘. فَأَجابَ يَسوعُ وَقال: ’أَيُّها ٱلجِيلُ غَيرُ ٱلمُؤمِنِ ٱلأَعوَج. إِلى
مَتى أَكونُ مَعَكُم؟ حَتَّى مَتى أَحتَمِلُكُم؟ إِلَيَّ بِهِ إِلى هَهُنا‘.
وَٱنتَهَرَهُ يَسوعُ، فَخَرَجَ مِنهُ ٱلشَّيطانُ، وَشُفِيَ ٱلغُلامُ مِن تِلكَ
ٱلسَّاعَة. حينَئِذٍ دَنا ٱلتَّلاميذُ إِلى يَسوعَ عَلى ٱنفِرادٍ وَقالوا: ’لِماذا
لَمْ نَستَطِعْ نَحنُ أَنْ نُخرِجَهُ؟‘ فَقالَ لَهُم يَسوع: ’لِعَدَمِ إِيمانِكُم!
فَٱلحقّ أَقولُ لَكُم: لَو كانَ لَكُم إِيمانٌ مِثْلَ حَبَّةِ ٱلخَردَلِ، لَكُنتُم
تَقُولُونَ لِهَذا ٱلجَبَلِ: إِنتَقِلْ مِن هُنا إِلى هُناكَ، فَيَنتَقِل. وَلا
يَستَحيلُ عَلَيكُم شَيء. أَمَّا هَذا ٱلجِنسُ، فَلا يَخرُجُ إِلَّا بِٱلصَّلاةِ
وَٱلصَّوم‘. وَإِذْ كانوا يَطوفونَ في ٱلجَليلِ، قالَ لَهُم يَسوع: ’إِنَّ ٱبنَ
ٱلإِنسانِ سَيُسْلَمُ إِلى أَيدي ٱلنَّاسِ، فَيَقتُلونَهُ، وَفي ٱليَومِ ٱلثَّالثِ
يَقوم‘

Car Dieu, il me semble, a fait de nous, apôtres, les
derniers des hommes, des condamnés à mort en quelque sorte, puisque nous avons
été en spectacle au monde, aux anges et aux hommes. Nous sommes fous à cause de
Christ; mais vous, vous êtes sages en Christ; nous sommes faibles, mais vous
êtes forts. Vous êtes honorés, et nous sommes méprisés! Jusqu’à cette heure,
nous souffrons la faim, la soif, la nudité; nous sommes maltraités, errants çà
et là; nous nous fatiguons à travailler de nos propres mains; injuriés, nous
bénissons; persécutés, nous supportons; calomniés, nous parlons avec bonté;
nous sommes devenus comme les balayures du monde, le rebut de tous, jusqu’à maintenant. Ce n’est pas pour
vous faire honte que j’écris ces choses; mais je vous avertis comme mes enfants
bien-aimés. Car, même si vous aviez dix mille maîtres en Christ, vous n’avez
cependant pas plusieurs pères, puisque c’est moi qui vous ai engendrés en
Jésus-Christ par l’Évangile. Je vous en
conjure donc, soyez mes imitateurs
Évangile Matthieu 17: 14 – 23a
Lorsqu’ils furent arrivés près de la foule, un homme vint se jeter à genoux devant Jésus, et dit: ‘Seigneur, aie pitié de
mon fils, qui est épileptique, et qui souffre cruellement; il tombe
souvent dans le feu, et souvent dans l’eau. Je l’ai amené à Tes disciples, et
ils n’ont pas pu le guérir.’ ‘Race incrédule et perverse’, répondit Jésus,
‘jusqu’à quand serai-Je avec vous? jusqu’à quand vous supporterai-Je?
Amenez-le-Moi ici.’ Jésus parla sévèrement au démon, qui sortit de lui, et l’enfant fut guéri à l’heure même. Alors les disciples s’approchèrent de Jésus, et Lui dirent
en particulier: ‘Pourquoi n’avons-nous pu chasser ce démon?’ ‘C’est à cause de
votre incrédulité’, leur dit Jésus. ‘Je vous le dis en vérité, si vous aviez de
la foi comme un grain de sénevé, vous diriez à cette montagne: Transporte-toi
d’ici là, et elle se transporterait; rien ne vous serait impossible. Mais cette
sorte de démon ne sort que par la prière
et par le jeûne.’ Pendant qu’ils parcouraient la Galilée,
Jésus leur dit: ‘Le Fils de l’Homme doit être livré entre les mains des hommes;
ils Le feront mourir, et le troisième jour Il ressuscitera’

For I think
that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for
we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are
fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are
strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! To the present hour we
both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.
And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being
persecuted, we endure; being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the
filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now. I do not write these things to shame you, but as my
beloved children I warn you. For
though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have
many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the Gospel. Therefore I urge you, imitate me
Gospel Matthew 17: 14 – 23a
And when they
had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
‘Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for
he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your
disciples, but they could not cure him.’ Then Jesus answered and said, ‘O faithless and perverse generation, how
long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to
Me.’ And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was
cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and
said, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ So
Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if
you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from
here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’ Now while they
were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, ‘The Son of Man is about to be
betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him, and the third day He
will be raised up’

ለዓለም
ለመላእክትም ለሰዎችም መጫወቻ ሆነናልና፤ እግዚአብሔር እኛን ሐዋርያቱን ሞት እንደ ተፈረደባቸው ሰዎች ከሁሉ ይልቅ የኋለኞች
እንዳደረገን ይመስለኛልና። እኛ ስለ ክርስቶስ ሞኞች ነን እናንተ ግን በክርስቶስ ልባሞች ናችሁ፤ እኛ ደካሞች ነን
እናንተ ግን ኃይለኞች ናችሁ፤ እናንተ የከበራችሁ ናችሁ እኛ ግን የተዋረድን ነን። እስከዚህ ሰዓት ድረስ እንራባለን፥
እንጠማለን፥ እንራቆታለን፥ እንጐሰማለን፥ እንንከራተታለን፥ በገዛ እጃችን እየሠራን እንደክማለን፤ ሲሰድቡን
እንመርቃለን፥ ሲያሳድዱን እንታገሣለን፥ ክፉ ሲናገሩን እንማልዳለን፤ እስከ አሁን ድረስ የዓለም ጥራጊ የሁሉም ጉድፍ
ሆነናል። እንደምወዳችሁ ልጆቼ አድርጌ ልገሥጻችሁ እንጂ ላሳፍራችሁ ይህን አልጽፍም። በክርስቶስ አእላፍ
ሞግዚቶች ቢኖሩአችሁ ብዙ አባቶች የሉአችሁም እኔ በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ በወንጌል ወልጄአችኋለሁና። እንግዲህ እኔን
የምትመስሉ ሁኑ ብዬ እለምናችኋለሁ።

ወደ
ሕዝቡም ሲደርሱ አንድ ሰው ወደ እርሱ ቀረበና ተንበርክኮ። ጌታ ሆይ፥ ልጄን ማርልኝ፥ በጨረቃ እየተነሣበት ክፉኛ
ይሣቀያልና፤ ብዙ ጊዜ በእሳት ብዙ ጊዜም በውኃ ይወድቃልና። ወደ ደቀ መዛሙርትህም አመጣሁት ሊፈውሱትም
አቃታቸው አለው። ኢየሱስም መልሶ። የማታምን ጠማማ ትውልድ ሆይ፥ እስከ መቼ ከእናንተ ጋር እኖራለሁ? እስከ መቼስ
እታገሣችኋለሁ? ወደዚህ ወደ እኔ አምጡት አለ። ኢየሱስም ገሠጸው ጋኔኑም ከእርሱ ወጣ፥ ብላቴናውም ከዚያች ሰዓት ጀምሮ
ተፈወሰ። ከዚህ በኋላ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ብቻቸውን ወደ ኢየሱስ ቀረቡና። እኛ ልናወጣው ያልቻልን ስለ ምን ነው?
አሉት። ኢየሱስም። ስለ እምነታችሁ ማነስ ነው፤ እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ የሰናፍጭ ቅንጣት የሚያህል እምነት ቢኖራችሁ፥
ይህን ተራራ። ከዚህ ወደዚያ እለፍ ብትሉት ያልፋል፤ የሚሳናችሁም ነገር የለም። ይህ ዓይነት ግን ከጸሎትና ከጦም በቀር
አይወጣም አላቸው። በገሊላም ሲመላለሱ ኢየሱስ። የሰው ልጅ በሰዎች እጅ አልፎ ይሰጥ ዘንድ አለው፥ ይገድሉትማል፥ በሦስተኛውም
ቀን ይነሣል አላቸው። እጅግም አዘኑ።
