يا
إِخوَتِي، إِقْتَدُوا بِي، وٱنْظُرُوا إِلى الَّذِينَ يَسْلُكُونَ على مِثَالِنَا.
فَكَثِيرٌ مِنْ
أُولئِكَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُ أُكَلِّمُكُم عَنْهُم مِرَارًا، وأُكَلِّمُكُم عَنْهُمُ
الآنَ باكِيًا، يَسْلُكُونَ كأَعْدَاءٍ لِصَلِيبِ المَسِيح، أُولئِكَ
الَّذِينَ عَاقِبَتُهُمُ الهَلاك، أُولئِكَ
الَّذينَ إِلهُهُم بَطْنُهُم، ومَجْدُهُم في عَارِهِم، وفي أُمُورِ الأَرْضِ هُمُّهُم.
أَمَّا نَحْنُ
فمَدِينَتُنَا في السَّمَاوَات، ومِنْهَا نَنْتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحَ مُخَلِّصًا.
وهوَ سَيُغَيِّرُ
جَسَدَ هَوَانِنَا، فيَجْعَلُهُ على صُورَةِ جَسَدِ مَجْدِهِ، وَفْقًا لِعَمَلِ
قُدْرَتِهِ، الَّتي بِهَا يُخْضِعُ لِنَفْسِهِ كُلَّ شَيء.
إِذًا،
يَا إِخْوَتِي، الَّذِينَ أُحِبُّهُم وأَشْتَاقُ إِلَيْهِم، وأَنْتُم فَرَحِي
وإِكْلِيلي، أُثْبُتُوا هكذَا في الرَّبّ، أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء
الإنجيل متّى 24: 23 – 31
قالَ
الرَّبُّ يَسوع: ’إِنْ قَالَ لَكُم أَحَد: ’هُوَذَا المَسِيحُ
هُنَا أَوْ هُنَاك!‘
فَلا تُصَدِّقُوا. فَسَوْفَ يَقُومُ مُسَحَاءُ كَذَبَةٌ
وأَنْبِيَاءُ كَذَبَة، ويَأْتُونَ بِآيَاتٍ عَظِيمَةٍ وخَوارِق، لِيُضِلُّوا
المُخْتَارِينَ أَنْفُسَهُم، لَو قَدِرُوا. هَا إِنِّي قَدْ أَنْبَأْتُكُم! فَإِنْ قَالُوا لَكُم: ’هَا هُوَ في
البَرِّيَّة!‘ فلا تَخْرُجُوا، أَو: ’هَا هُوَ في دَاخِلِ البَيْت!‘ فَلا تُصَدِّقُوا. فكَمَا أَنَّ البَرْقَ يُومِضُ مِنَ
المَشَارِق، ويَسْطَعُ حَتَّى المَغَارِب، هكَذَا يَكُونُ مَجِيءُ ٱبْنِ الإِنْسَان. حَيْثُ تَكُونُ الجُثَّةُ هُنَاكَ
تَجْتَمِعُ النُّسُور. وحَالًا بَعْدَ ضِيقِ تِلْكَ الأَيَّام،
أَلشَّمْسُ تُظْلِم، والقَمَرُ لا يُعْطِي ضَوءَهُ، والنُّجُومُ تَتَسَاقَطُ مِنَ
السَّمَاء، وقُوَّاتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ تَتَزَعْزَع. وحينَئِذٍ تَظْهَرُ في السَّمَاءِ عَلامَةُ
ٱبْنِ الإِنْسَان، فَتَنْتَحِبُ قَبَائِلُ الأَرْضِ كُلُّها، وتَرَى ٱبْنَ
الإِنْسَانِ آتِيًا على سُحُبِ السَّمَاءِ بِقُدْرَةٍ ومَجْدٍ عَظِيم. ويُرْسِلُ مَلائِكَتَهُ يَنْفُخُونَ في بُوقٍ
عَظِيم، فيَجْمَعُونَ مُخْتَارِيهِ مِنَ الرِّيَاحِ الأَرْبَع، مِنْ أَقَاصي
السَّمَاوَاتِ إِلى أَقَاصِيهَا‘

Frères,
ensemble imitez-moi, et regardez bien ceux qui se conduisent selon l’exemple
que nous vous donnons. Car je vous l’ai souvent dit, et maintenant je le redis
en pleurant: beaucoup de gens se conduisent en ennemis de la Croix du Christ.
Ils vont à leur perte. Leur dieu, c’est leur ventre, et ils mettent leur gloire
dans ce qui fait leur honte; ils ne pensent qu’aux choses de la terre. Mais
nous, nous avons notre citoyenneté dans les Cieux, d’où nous attendons comme
Sauveur le Seigneur Jésus Christ, Lui Qui transformera nos pauvres corps à
l’image de Son Corps glorieux, avec la puissance active qui Le rend même
capable de tout mettre sous Son pouvoir. Ainsi, mes frères bien-aimés pour qui
j’ai tant d’affection, vous, ma joie et ma couronne, tenez bon dans le
Seigneur, mes bien-aimés
Évangile Matthieu 24:
23 – 31
‘Alors
si quelqu’un vous dit: ‘Voilà le Messie! Il est là!’ ou bien encore: ‘Il est
là!’, n’en croyez rien. Il surgira des faux messies et des faux prophètes, ils
produiront des signes grandioses et des prodiges, au point d’égarer, si c’était
possible, même les élus. Voilà: Je vous l’ai dit à l’avance. Si l’on vous dit:
‘Le voilà dans le désert’, ne sortez pas. Si l’on vous dit: ‘Le voilà dans le
fond de la maison’, n’en croyez rien. En effet, comme l’éclair part de l’orient
et brille jusqu’à l’occident, ainsi sera la venue du Fils de l’Homme. Selon le
proverbe: Là où se trouve le cadavre, là se rassembleront les vautours.
Aussitôt après la détresse de ces jours-là, le soleil s’obscurcira et la lune
ne donnera plus sa clarté; les étoiles tomberont du ciel et les puissances
célestes seront ébranlées. Alors paraîtra dans le ciel le signe du Fils de
l’Homme; alors toutes les tribus de la terre se frapperont la poitrine et
verront le Fils de l’Homme venir sur les nuées du ciel, avec puissance et
grande gloire. Il enverra Ses anges avec une trompette retentissante, et ils
rassembleront Ses élus des quatre coins du monde, d’une extrémité des cieux
jusqu’à l’autre’

Brethren, join
in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a
pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even
weeping, that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is
their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly
things. For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the
Lord Jesus Christ, Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed
to His glorious Body, according to the working by which He is able even to
subdue all things to Himself. Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my
joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved

Then if anyone
says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For
false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and
wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the
desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will
the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles
will be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days the
sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall
from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the
Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will
mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with
power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one
end of heaven to the other’

ወንድሞች
ሆይ፥ እኔን የምትመስሉ ሁኑ፥ እኛም እንደ ምሳሌ እንደምንሆንላችሁ፥ እንዲሁ የሚመላለሱትን ተመልከቱ። ብዙዎች
ለክርስቶስ መስቀል ጠላቶቹ ሆነው ይመላለሳሉና፤ ብዙ ጊዜ ስለ እነርሱ አልኋችሁ፥ አሁንም እንኳ እያለቀስሁ እላለሁ። መጨረሻቸው
ጥፋት ነው፥ ሆዳቸው አምላካቸው ነው፥ ክብራቸው በነውራቸው ነው፥ አሳባቸው ምድራዊ ነው። እኛ
አገራችን በሰማይ ነውና፥ ከዚያም ደግሞ የሚመጣ መድኃኒትን እርሱንም ጌታን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን እንጠባበቃለን፤ እርሱም
ሁሉን እንኳ ለራሱ ሊያስገዛ እንደሚችልበት አሠራር፥ ክቡር ሥጋውን እንዲመስል የተዋረደውን ሥጋችንን ይለውጣል። ስለዚህ፥
የምወዳችሁና የምናፍቃችሁ፥ ደስታዬና አክሊሌ የምትሆኑ ወንድሞቼ ሆይ፥ እንዲሁ በጌታ ቁሙ፥ ወዳጆች ሆይ።

በዚያን
ጊዜ ማንም። እነሆ፥ ክርስቶስ ከዚህ አለ ወይም። ከዚያ አለ ቢላችሁ አትመኑ፤
ሐሰተኞች
ክርስቶሶችና ሐሰተኞች ነቢያት ይነሣሉና፥ ቢቻላቸውስ የተመረጡትን እንኳ እስኪያስቱ ድረስ ታላላቅ ምልክትና ድንቅ ያሳያሉ። እነሆ፥
አስቀድሜ ነገርኋችሁ። እንግዲህ። እነሆ፥ በበረሀ ነው ቢሉአችሁ፥ አትውጡ፤ እነሆ፥
በእልፍኝ ነው ቢሉአችሁ፥ አትመኑ፤ መብረቅ ከምሥራቅ ወጥቶ እስከ ምዕራብ እንደሚታይ፥ የሰው ልጅ
መምጣት እንዲሁ ይሆናልና፤ በድን ወዳለበት በዚያ አሞራዎች ይሰበሰባሉ። ከዚያች
ወራትም መከራ በኋላ ወዲያው ፀሐይ ይጨልማል፥ ጨረቃም ብርሃንዋን አትሰጥም፥ ከዋክብትም ከሰማይ ይወድቃሉ፥ የሰማያትም
ኃይላት ይናወጣሉ። በዚያን ጊዜም የሰው ልጅ ምልክት በሰማይ ይታያል፥ በዚያን ጊዜም የምድር ወገኖች ሁሉ ዋይ ዋይ ይላሉ፥
የሰው ልጅንም በኃይልና በብዙ ክብር በሰማይ ደመና ሲመጣ ያዩታል፤
መላእክቱንም
ከታላቅ መለከት ድምፅ ጋር ይልካቸዋል፥ ከሰማያትም ዳርቻ እስከ ዳርቻው ከአራቱ ነፋሳት ለእርሱ የተመረጡትን ይሰበስባሉ።
